We had a comfortable life where we were. Our home was paid off, we had great jobs that we loved, and our family and dearest friends were close by. But when the Lord commands you to "Go", you will no longer be comfortable unless you obey. The transition was hardest on our daughter. While things were sometimes difficult for us, she was still in elementary school, and quite literally everything she had ever known was back 'home' - her family, friends, neighbors, church, school, and home. The only constant were us her parents. It has taken some time, but with the Lord and kind new friends, she is becoming more comfortable. Our start at FBT was a mixture of hopefulness and sorrow. In the year since we have been here, we have had the grief of two of our young people losing a parent. But there has been occasion to rejoice as well. There have been several teens saved and baptized within this year, and we have gotten to know our new church family better. God has given us a love for our new church home, and especially for the students to whom we minister. He has blessed us far and above all we could have expected. We have a comfortable home, new friends, and a team of youth workers who love the Lord and the students. We are so thankful for each of these dear couples, for without them, Gods work would be more difficult and frankly less fun! For the students of FBT, we pray that our group continues to grow in number but especially in spiritual strength and maturity. We know God is able and willing to bless if we labor faithfully in His fields. We are so happy we came! We love you, Pastor Andrew and Nicole
